I am trying to buy a ticket on a specific train that a friend of mine already has a ticket for. I want to travel from London to Paris on May 10, leaving at 16:31. I know the train number is 9040, but I am not sure which station in London is the one I need. (Her ticket says “Eurostar Plus”.) I’m trying to book this on the Eurail website, not Eurostar, which saves a lot of money. Thanks in advance for your help.

If you’re travelling on a railpass, you can buy the passholder ticket at Raileurope.com. Add your pass in the search box.

It costs €30 in Standard Class, or €38 in Plus (only possible if you have a first class pass).

You can change your seats on the Eurostar website after booking, to sit with your friend.

There’s only one station in London, indeed in the UK, for Eurostar: London St Pancras.

Are you travelling with a Eurail pass, or buying a full ticket? Eurostar Plus requires a first-class pass if you’re using a railpass.
