missed connecting train

Hi, so rn i’m on a train to mulhouse ville (using tgv inoui) and after that i have connecting train to st louis but turns out my train to mulhouse ville has delayed for around 1.40 hours and i missed the last train from mulhouse to st. louis. is there any compensation that the train company can give to me? cause i already pay for my hotel in st. louis

Yes, in this case the SNCF should refund a hotel night or pay a taxi to St-Louis if it is cheaper. If possible try to contact the staff in the train or at the Mulhouse station.

Another option. Does your TGV continue to Basel? In this case stay in the train until Basel. You can reach St-Louis with the tram.

Sorry, I didn't see your last post. But my first answer is still correct. You should obtain a refund of a hotel night in Mulhouse or a taxi to St-Louis.

Try to find staff, for example there's a TER coming from Strasbourg in 2 minutes (platform 2). They might not be helpful but worth a try.

Otherwise take a taxi, get a receipt and tomorrow contact Eurail customer support, they should refund the fare: https://eurail.zendesk.com/hc/en-001/requests/new

That's why you should talk with the staff already on the train. They should know what the procedure is.
