We’re planning a trip from UK by interrail thru Amsterdam - Copenhagen - Stockholm - Narvik - Oslo - Bruges then home. Trying to use the planner and it comes unstuck with the Norway section. The Night train from Stockholm to Narvik, the planner insists that it will take 42 hrs via Boden. It won’t. There’s a direct night train for around 20hrs.  How can I bypass this in the planner?
Also there’s no direct train between Narvik and Oslo, so we were thinking of flying to Trondheim then train to Oslo. How can I include a gap like this in the planner?
Is it possible to plan more than one trip in the planner at the same time without finalising either?

Please never use the Rail Planner app or the Interrail website to plan. They're often not up to date and generally not reliable enough to plan. Use a national planner, or e.g. bahn.com for international journeys.

For Stockholm-Narvik, use sj.se, where you can also book reservations. You didn't mention a travel date, but from 12/4, the night train is no longer direct and there's a change in Boden (arr. 5:42). Total travel time is 18.5 hours.

For Norway, use entur.no. You'll see there's a bus from Narvik to Fauske and Bodø (both have a railway station). The route along the coast is quite nice.

In the Rail Planner app, you can have only one trip linked to your pass. That trip will eventually contain all journeys you will be doing on that pass.
