I am trying to purchase the 20 per cent discounted Global Paper Pass, but the ‘details’ required include a ‘start date’ for the Eurailpass.
I want to leave this blank as I have for previous purchases of paper passes, but the system won’t let me, as it insists on a date.
How do I solve this?

You need a start date for the paper pass. If you don't know when you will be travelling, you need to buy a mobile pass.
