Hi. I can’t believe I have to ask this but I have read through the whole website, watched the videos, read the FAQs and tried to find answers in the Community. Still, I’m confused with trips, journeys, activations, tickets and so on. I believe I will find my way through it when it’s time to travel, but to avoid extra stress, my question is: are these (below) the right steps to use the Mobile Pass?
I have the “5 days per months pass”. I have the app and I have connected my pass to it. Is this what I’ll do next:
1) Create 5 trips, one for each travel day, and connect them to the pass
2) Find the right journeys for each travel day and connect them to the right trip (or is that possible before the pass is valid?)
3) Activate the pass when day one is coming closer
4) On travel day, create a ticket by choosing the right journey from my trips and add it to the pass (will this also activate the ticket?)
Answer
Planning, activating, connecting..

- A pass can only be connected to one trip. That trip will eventually contain all journeys you'll make with that pass.
- You can add journeys to a trip before activating the pass. There no need to, however; you only need to do that before you board a train.
- Don't activate your pass or a travel day in advance. Only do that on the day you start your trip. There's no advantage to activate in advance. You can only cancel activation before validity starts, so if you wake up ill on the planned start day, you can't cancel the activation anymore and you can loose travel days.
- Correct. When you add the first journey of the day to your pass, you create the ticket for the day.
