I’ve seen that the Montparnasse Station in Frane has plattform gates. Do I scan my Interail Ticket on those or my Seat reservations?
This might be a dumb question, but I’ve never taken the train in France before and I will have a tighter time frame to switch station so I just want to make sure I know what to do when I arrive.

The reservation will work 100% of the time (not guaranteed for the pass). Staff do the main check onboard.
For my last TGV out of Montparnasse (last week) you could either use the gates or walk past staff with a scanner.

You can scan your seat reservations. You have also sometimes also manual controls at the entrance of the platform.
In the train, both are controlled.
