pricing of reservations

Yesterday I made reservations for a TGV from Paris to Nimes. In “My Trip” the price indication was € 12 per seat. But on line the price was in US dollars and about ten euros higher. I’m puzzled and wonder whether I did something wrong. As I need to make additional reservations, advice is much appreciated.

Domestic TGV reservations have 2 price levels: €10 and €20. The Rail Planner app says "from €12” because:

  1. It includes Eurail's €2 booking fee.
  2. It doesn't know if there are still €10 seats available.

If you're seeing prices in USD, then you're on the Eurail website, although it should be Interrail if you live in the Netherlands. In any case, this page is also a better overview of the best places to book reservations:
