Hi! This is my first interrail trip and i am confused… I want to start my Trip on Friday, in France, on a tgv train. I booked the additional reservation some days ago but when I want to add the trip to my pass now, it says: trip not included in the network. What does that mean?

The 15:26 from Mannheim is operated by Flixtrain, who don't accept passes. You can't have a pass reservation for it, because that doesn't exist.

I'd stay on TGV 9583 until Frankfurt and then take whatever the next train is to Berlin (use the DB Navigator app). Reservations on this TGV are not mandatory in Germany.

  1. Please mention route and departure time.
  2. Could you post a screenshot of the journey you looked up in the planner?
  3. What kind of pass have you bought?

At least one part of the journey is not included, according to the Rail Planner app. Check the details of the journey. For more information, please answer the questions above.

Hi, thanks for your quick reply. I bought a Global Pass for 7 days, starting in France, going to Germany, Denmark, Germany, and back.

  1. Route: 6.3. Lyon - Berlin via Mannheim, 10:01 TGV 9583 -20:46 , change in Mannheim , leaving 15:26. The problematic journey seems to be the one in Germany…

There is a direct ICE from Frankfurt to Berlin. Leaving at 16:15 and 17:00.

As with basicly all trains in Germany you do not need a reservation for them. So just add them to your imterrail pass and you are good to go.
