Question regarding activation and expiration date of my Interrail Pass

Hey everyone,
I bought the Interrail Global Pass for youth (4 days within 1 month) last year in August. The pass says: “Activate before 6 July 2025.”

What exactly does this mean?
Can I theoretically activate the pass on 6 July 2025, and then the 1-month validity period starts, during which I can use my 4 travel days? So that I would have time to travel until 5 August 2025?

Or do I have to complete all my travels before or on 6 July 2025, meaning that this is the last possible day I can travel?

I'd really appreciate any help, thanks in advance! 😊

Yea that would appear to be the case

it doesn’t say you must have used all travel days by the a to activation date.

so I would assume activate the pass by then and you have the length of the pass to fit your travel days in

That is correct.
