I am a first time Eurail user. I am using the planer to go from Luxembourg to Heidelberg and it say there is a replacement bus. Is that normal and if so will my Eurail pass be accepted?

Yes, your pass is valid as it’s a rail replacement bus.

All public transport in the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg is completely free anyway, so no issue at all :).

Just add in a few extra minutes to find the correct bus stop/platform at the station in the morning.

Could you please mention date and departure time, or show the exact journey?
