Reservations booked with rail companies not Eurail

Hi, I know that seat reservations booked wirh rail companies (Eurostar, for example) instead of Eurail itself don’t show up in my app or account. Is it in any way possible to upload these reservations in the app or account? Can I or must I use a printed version or a download somewhere else to show to the ticket conductor on the train?

Hi @Simone21

Seat reservations booked directly with rail companies (such as Eurostar) are indeed not visible in your web account or app. Unfortunately, it isn’t possible to upload any reservation into the app.

In these cases, you’ll need to use the confirmation you received from the rail company, either printed or downloaded to your phone, to show to the ticket conductor on the train. Your Pass (in the app) and your separate reservation ticket together make your full travel document.

Hope this helps!

Hi Community Moderator,

Your reply is indeed very helpful for my upcoming trips with Eurostar and the European Sleeper! The general information available on Eurail and the FAQs weren’t as clear or precise as your answer to my questions. So thank you for helping out!

Eurostar is best booked on raileurope.com. European Sleeper best on their own website.

In general, use this page as a guide for reservations:
