You're able to make them both on https://shop.oebbtickets.at/en/ticket

Reservations will be required on the cross-border sections this summer and DB cannot sell standalone mandatory reservations (due to their booking system).

Cheaper to make them through the Austrian Railways (ÖBB) : 3€ per person per train. Book one train at a time.

You don't have to do that right now though but I've had a quick look and it already works for July.

You are far too early to make reservations in July.

Exactly what route, date and time are you trying to make reservations for?

What happened when you tried booking on DB (5.20€ pp) or ÖBB (3€)?

From what I can see, bookings are open. Though a train type change is expected in the meantime so your reservations may become worthless (you should get a refund in such situations).

I'd wait until closer to departure.
