Salzburg to Munich on German Onecountrypass

I understand that the German Rail Pass covers trains from Munich to Salzburg, but does it also cover trains from Salzburg to Munich? Sorry if this seems like a dumb question, but the pass only shows trains TO Salzburg from Munich and not the other way round.
