We have a 1st Class Global Eurail Pass. Now looking at seat reservations for Amsterdam to London in mid June. We are seniors and the price for the seat reservations is close to $300 AUD. Is this normal? Or is this because we are travelling in peak season? Seems very expensive. We are still learning how to navigate the websites,

I am looking at Rail Europe. The price on Rail Planner is 56 Euro. Not sure where you Angelo are getting your prices.

Sure that you didn’t choose a connection where there’s a need to change trains? So you’d have to buy two reservations. That would be more expensive. But it should be 65 € then, not 56.

Otherwise the prices given before are correct. You should see them at Rail Europe. First class is 43 €.

The reservation for

standard class is 35 Euro/person

standard premier is 43 Euro/person

business premier not for Eurail/Interrail pass holders
