Seat reservation in ICE and TGV

I wanted to book a seat using interrail in ICE and TGV but do not find option on DB bahn and SNCF, how can I do it?

For ICE train from Mannheim to Paris, do I need a seat reservation?

Hi you can book it with Rail Europe (Homepage not app) or this link of Deutsche Bahn

https://int.bahn.de/en/buchung/start?KL=2&ET=PASSZUSCHLAG 

do not open in the DB Navigator app or go to the homepage, because it change to the normal pricing without Interrail.

    ​@Gautam Kishore Yes you need a seat reservation for the ICE from Mannheim to Paris. I recommend using the link Angelo posted as DB does not add any additional fees onto the reservation costs). This only works for the trains between Germany and france and not for domestic trains in france.

    Thanks both, I checked the link, its charging me 19 Euro for Mannheim to Paris, is it for the seat?

    Yes unfortunatly they are quite expensive but 19€ is correct for an interrail seat reservation on that route.

      Hi,

      i’ll be travelling with my husband and my 4-year-old son. When i use the link provided above, I can’t see the option to add my son. I can only see the option for adult and child aged 6-14. Can you please advise on how to book a seat for my son?

      ​@Tu Ng You enter the exact age in a later stage (there you can then enter the correct age) just select 6-14 at the beginning and then enter the actual age in the next step.

      Thanks. I’ve can select the global pass option. I can see that the cost for seat reservation is 45.25 euro. I can’t see the option for seat selection. How do I know if it has successfully reserved or the seat numbers?

      You can't select seats for this train. You'll see the seats in the confirmation e-mail.
