Hi. We are seniors travelling with a 1st class Global Pass. Our preferred train is the 12:32pm departure on 29 June. The EURAIL site says seat reservations are recommended but Rail Europe says not required. Do we risk it and not book a seat? Thank you.

The train shouldn’t be that busy in 1st class but feel free to make a reservation. They’re free in the UK anyway. Use https://www.gwr.com/
