I would like to add my seat reservation in my shoppingcard. This train in question, can be booked 180 days in advance. Today is 177 day before the train departs.
I tried, but I get a error message right away.

You can book a reservation for €3 per train on tickets.oebb.at. Optional reservations in 1st class free of charge: add the Interrail/Eurail discount and the choose "One-way tickets” (NOT "Seat reservation only”).
Or for €4.90 per journey (including all trains with optional reservations) on www.bahn.com, with the option "Book seat only”.
Multiple reasons could explain that. First of all, the Interrail website is not a reliable tool to book seats. Have a look at https://www.seat61.com/interrail-and-eurail-reservations.htm
