Can anyone recommend overnight sleeper trains in Italy? Would like to go from Venice to Naples and then Naples back up to Florence or Milan but  there don’t seem to be many direct overnight trains to these destinations. Do any of you have any experience booking this type of trip?

There’s a good map of sleepers all over Europe here:

You could do Venice to Rome, then connect to Naples.

Naples to Milan should be possible, but Naples to Florence is a bit too short to be worthwhile I think.

Venezia to Napoli is possible daily at 22.31 with a change at Roma Termini (arrives 8.12 in Napoli).

Napoli to Milano is possible daily at 21.35 (arrives 6.55).

It's also possible to go from Napoli to Firenze and Milano with a change at Salerno (leaves 23.33 from there). But Napoli to Firenze is just 3 hours by daytime train.
