Hi, I’m Nathan, I’m French and I’m 18.

I'm making this post to talk about my interrail trip that I'm going to do with 2 other friends. 🚃🚞🚄

Our trip runs from July 10 to July 23.

We're leaving from France, to go to these different destinations:
- A quick stopover in Hamburg (a few hours before an overnight train)
- Arrival in Stockholm (we're staying one night and 2 days)
- Night train to Narvik (beyond the Arctic Circle, in northern Norway, where we stay for 2 nights and 3 days).
- Return in the opposite direction by night train, passing through Stockholm on the way to Copenhagen. We spend 3 nights there.
- We then headed for Prague, where we spent 2 nights.
Our final destination is Vienna in Austria. Another 2 nights there, before returning to France.
The trip takes a total of 13 days, almost 2 weeks.

If anyone would like to meet up in some of the cities we're visiting, it would be a pleasure to meet new people of all nationalities. Please let me know if you are available.

I'd also like to raise the question of accommodation, especially for Stockholm and Copenhagen, which are quite expensive cities... If anyone has a solution so that we don't break the bank by spending one or more nights there, I'd love to hear from you! Or if someone on site can host 3 travelers in exchange for a little money, that's fine too 😆

So don't hesitate to reply via this thread, I hope to hear from you! :))

Hi Nathan! If you’re looking for people to meet up with during your travels, we have a Find a Travel Buddy group here in the Community. You can make you inquiries there.

As to your question about accommodations, I totally hear you! Stockholm and Copenhagen can be pricey. You might want to look into hostels, Couchsurfing, or even short-term rentals a bit outside the city center. Sometimes staying a train ride away can save a lot! Anyone with tips, feel free to chime in.
