Switching credit card in DB's app

Has anyone come across an issue with the DB app when switching credit card when purchasing a ticket or seat reservation? Every time I try to purchase a seat reservation with a different credit card from the one I usually use, the app does not allow me to complte the payment, even though the app offers you the option to switch cards! Really annoying.

What do you mean by "does not allow me to complete the payment”? Where do you get stuck?

Do you have the same problem on the DB website?

Have you reported the problem to DB?

Yes, I have reported this issue to DB. What I mean by the DB app "does not allow me to complete the paymen” is: the app will not accept the new credit card number, despite the fact that it is a valid credit card. The whole point of having the option to use a different credit card is negated if the payment process cannot be completed.

(I haven’t seen this problem myself before, I'm just trying to isolate the problem.)

DB app problem solved: The issue was caused by an out-of-date (expired) credit card. Once I updated my credit card details, I was able to make payments.
