syncing app with web account

I found a trip on my app, saved it but I don’t see it appear when I log in to the web version. I don’t get the same trip in the web version. Why is that? Are the things you fill in on the phone app synced or stored in ones account?

App and website are totally separate.

On the app you log trains you’d like to take. This can be done at any time prior to boarding.

On the website you book seats whenever required. However there are always better places to book : no fees (as opposed to 2€ per person per train on interrail.eu!), sometimes seat map, better exchange conditions, etc. → have a look at https://www.seat61.com/interrail-and-eurail-reservations.htm
