Ticket for my son

Is it possible for me to buy a train ticket for my son who has come to visit us in Italy. I still have more than five tickets remaining on my pass.

Of course it’s possible, millions of people in Italy travel by train, the vast majority of whom buy tickets.

Just go to your local station and use the ticket machine or staffed counter, alternatively visit https://www.trenitalia.com/en.html

Sure you can buy pass for him if you want. It doesn't matter how many travel days you still have for yourself.
