Tickets and reservations for Jungfraujoch

I want to book reservation for Jungfraujoch early as it may be sold out fast. But I prefer to book the tickets later when I am certain of the weather conditions.  Normally, it is fine to book both separately but I checked with AI which says that to secure the 25% discount offered to EURAIL pass holders one must book both the reservation and tickets together ss a bundle  Is that true?

This link works for standalone reservations: https://www.jungfrau.ch/en-gb/jungfraujoch-top-of-europe/book-priority-boarding/

The 25% discount doesn't apply to seat reservations anyway.

Otherwise feel free to contact them. They'll happily answer (and take your money).

Yes. I am not expecting any discount on the reservation seats.  I just need to know if I can book the reservation first and then later ( when I am more certain about the weather) book the 20% discounted ticket for the same day and time as my reservation?  This way , I don't mind losing my reservation fees ( should I cancel it) and choose a different date. If I book both together I will lose both ticket and reservation fees should it be cancelled due to poor weather conditions

Nobody knows. It is the first year Jungfraubahn implements mandatory seat reservations over the summer. Contact them.

Personally I'd avoid the tourist trap and go to Schilthorn for half the price.

I totally agree with @thibcabe .

You have a much nicer view from Schilthorn. If you spend 1 hour in the turning restaurant you will get a 360 degree view of the Jungfraujoch area.
