We live in Germany and want to go on an interrail trip in Norway. Therefore we take the train to Kiel, sleep there and take the ferry to Oslo. In Norway we want to use 5 days of our 7 days Ticket. Afterwards we want to Take the ferry from Oslo to Kiel and then use our interrail Ticket to Go Back Home.

Is it possible to use our homecountry-days that way? Because we do Not Transit a Border on the same day by train, but take the ferry on the next day.

(We will buy the ferry Ticket seperately)

You are perfectly fine doing like that. You can travel on a maximum of 2 travel days in your home country.
