Hi,
I am thinking of travelling from Bordeaux to South of Spain next October with my husband, by train. The idea would be maybe via Madrid, spend a little bit of time there, and then go down to Sevila and spend some day there.
Any ideas of the best way to go there and the nice places to stop in on the way to ?

+9The most logical route is to take a TER to Hendaye, near the border, then jump on the Euskotren (local metro, not included in the pass) to cross into Spain and onto San Sebastián/Donostia. From there, you rejoin the rail network - direct trains to Madrid.
San Sebastián is well a stop. The rest, I don’t know. Although I can vouch for Madrid & Sevilla.
