Hello !

Does anyone have an axperience about travelling with a dog and an interrail pass ?

We want to travel in France and Italy with our dog next week ( 29 march-6 april). We havn't buy the interrail pass yet because we can't find a clear information about how to buy him his ticket.

Indeed, we can buy a ticket for a dog in the website if we buy an adult ticket. But with interail we dont buy an adult ticket. So how to buy the dog ticket ?

We already called trenitalia and they dont have an answer.

So we are a bit blocked.

Thanks a lot !

I will be blunt: it will be much much less hassle if you use regular tickets. Follow these links:

Hours spent on the phone with customer service, queueing at ticket counters are not worth saving a little bit of money with Interrail (every high-speed train in France and Italy requires seat reservations, extra costs).

If you'd like some tips to save money, mention route and travel date.
