Trip Planner - website and Reservations

Hi - I have purchased 3 x Eurail Passes and have commenced booking trains.

However in the Trip Planner where we are planning the trip, it says reservation required - but have already done that and have it confirmed.

  1. Can we link the reservation into the trip planner on the website so we know that this segment has been completed?
  2. coming up with us requiring to book passes as ads - doesnt seem to recognise that we have already purchased passes - we are logged in, and my account shows all the correct information (that I have purchased tickets, names of travellers etc)
  3. Does the reservations how up in the mobile app?  I cant seem to see the tickets in the mobile app?  I can see them on the website.

Thank you for your advice

The reservations you bought on other sites (as recommended) cannot be linked or imported to the rail planner app.

I’m not sure about the add, but did you link your trip to your pass? You’re asked to do it, when you create a trip. If you go to my trip, you can see if it’s connected to a pass.

In the Rail Planner app, you can only see, after logging in, reservations booked via Eurail (not recommended BTW). Reservations booked elsewhere can’t be seen there.

Thank you - I booked the train reservations through Eurail on the app and I have the pass linked to our trip - which is why I am confused about why it doesnt show up in the trip planner part on the website (under plan  your trip), when you plan your journey.  I would have thought if you have booked your train reservation through the eurail part of reservations and your trip is linked, it would add that in to the trip planning part of the website.

Below it says reservations required (this is in the plan your trip)

Here you can see I have booked the trip (which goes via Frankfurt) under the reservations section of eurail.  Its all confirmed and paid for.

Is it that the Plan your Trip and reservations part dont “talk to each other” ?

I don't book reservations via Eurail (more expensive, never any seat choice) but it looks like they indeed don't talk to each other.
