You should check the prices of Supersaver or Saver Tickets on the official sites (e.g. bahn.de, SNCB) for these journeys and compare, it could be cheaper as a pass, Note that such tickets are not refundable or only with a fee and you will have less flexibility when you visit the German cities. But, it you are lucky, your train will be late, altered or cancelled and you will no longer have train bindings.

​@Eurail Community Moderator Do you know what happened to the consecutive German Rail Passes? Surely, if DB advertise them, then they should exist.

First of all the RER from Paris to CDG Airport is not included in the pass.

The great thing about Germany is that there are no mandatory reservations. So if you want flexibility a eurail pass is worth it as flexible train tickets are otherwise expensive. 

Regarding pricing are you under 28 years as there is quite a price difference between the youth pass and the adult pass ? Regarding normal tickets just look you trips up on https://int.bahn.de/en/ 

If you decide to get eurail pass a cheap eurostar ticket (36€) is not that much more expensive then the mandatory reservation(27€) and could allow you to choose an eurail pass with less days. (in your case for example a 5 day global pass)

Thank you for your reply. I’ve insert few permutation and some numbers as below for comparison. Ideally i will go for the 3rd option (Euro 313) with a 5 day pass. I would like to confirm if i purchase an ala carte eurostar ticket (Brussels - Paris Nord) leg i do not have to add-on for the mandatory seat reservation ? Hopefully the numbers are correct.

Correct. If you buy a regular ticket, that’s all you need.

Some remarks about your table:

Option 4 seems to have an incorrect price for the 5-day global Eurail pass. In addition, you're planning to use it on the cheapest days, e.g. on 11/5. On the other hand, it doesn't take the Eurostar reservation into account.

Option 5 also has a strange price for the 7-day Eurail pass and doesn't include the Eurostar reservation.

i looks like those eurail pass prices in the table include the eurostar reservation which cost 27€ + 2€ booking fee.

​But ​@syaaron if you buy a flex pass you dont have to travel continiously with it, you can also buy a regular ticket for 1 day in the middle of it. (like 11/5) And use the eurail pass for the days before and after that journey.

Yes, you rightly pointed out and since Eurail pass only offers Flexi Pass. I’ll keep an eye for the Spring Sale now.

I think you have the youth eurail pass price in your table (atleast for option 3)

Only the tickets on trains with mandatory reservations come with an included reservation.

Regarding trains in Germany of you go the individual trains route, purchasing a Probe bahn card 25(valid for 3months, can be cancelled immediatly after purchase to avoid getting a subscription) would give you 25% off on tickets from DB in Germany. (Its currently available for just10€)

My mistake on that. I’ve updated the table below. From here, it looks like regular / ala carte ticket will be more worthwhile. I guess only restriction is the timing. I’ve checked the Probe bahn card 25 it’s showing €19.90 for me, is there any digit voucher code to entitle for the €10?

Ignore previous table. Here is an updated one with Probe bahn card 25. My bad to assume it’s direct 25% discount on all German ticket 

On the DB website, it mentions continuous passes, but it also lists combinations we don’t currently offer, such as 3 or 4 continuous passes. Let me confirm this with the SMEs.

The DB website refers to the Interrail/Eurail websites to buy any German Rail Pass. If not all passes are available there, I think you should let DB know that they should specify how to buy the passes that are not available on the Interrail/Eurail websites. DB also state that all passes can be bought online:

Obviously, the best solution for passengers would be to offer all available passes on the Interrail/Eurail websites. Why would you restrict choice?
