OK this is an issue I've run into. How do I book a seats on this train.
Eurail system is not offering any clear advice.

Unfortunately there is no way of reserving this for passholders outside of visiting a ticket office in Spain.
It is possible to obtain a reservation from the train staff for €10 as long as there is space available
The train is unlikely to be full but there are no guarantees.
If you cannot board there are slower alternatives available to get you to Barcelona using reservation free trains via Portbou.
