URGENT! Unable to activate pass for tomorrow!

THIS IS AN URGENT SITUATION PLEASE HELP!!!

I am travelling from London tomorrow but am unable to activate my pass. I bought an interail global promo youth pass at the beginning of this month. When I try to activate it, it says the nearest date I can activate it is the 30th August. This is clearly a mistake as on the website it states you can activate your mobile pass as soon as you have purchased it. Your help is massively needed as I am extremely stresssed as this is the only time of the next 2 years where I will be able to have a full month of travel and have been looking forward to this for months and simply cannot miss this trip. Your help with this would be extremely appreciated.

Many thanks,

Sam Shepherd

If you bought your pass in the recent sale (that ended on 3 July), then the earliest possible start date is 1 September.

So an earliest start date of 30 August is strange.

  1. What kind of pass did you buy and what price have you paid?
  2. Where (which URL) did you buy it?
  3. Check what it says in the confirmation mail.

In any case, customer service should be able to tell what you have bought if you give them your pass number:

If you did buy your pass in the most recent sale, then you'll have to do an exchange. If you bought your pass on interrail.eu, that means first buying a new pass and then returning the old one:

Hey, Did you get the Pass on a discount? There was a Sale, where you could purchase passes less expensive, but it was only for Journeys from September onward. I’m not sure how to fix that, but at least it could explain the problem.

I hope it works out for you!
