Using Tripplanner

I just purchased a pass and have started entering my itinerary. Most of the trip is through Denmark, Sweden and Norway. The TripPlanner worked fine in Denmark and Sweden parts but in Norway it doesn’t recognize or allow me to add some locations, specifically Gudvangen and Vossevangen as part of a segment from Oslo to Bergen.  The stops should be from Oslo-Myrdal-Flam-boat to Gudvangen-bus to Vossevangen-train again to Bergen. Oslo-Myrdal-Flam-Gudvangen are all in one day. It also has some dates wrong and won’t allow correction.  I’m doing this on a laptop because it’s easier for me than a phone. Should I only be entering the train travel? If so there will be gaps in the dates and locations.

Thanks in advance if anyone can help me sort this out.

For Norway, just use entur.no to plan.

Thanks for the suggestion but that didn’t work either, not even from Oslo to Myrdal.  Perhaps it’s too far in the future.

Norwegian timetables are usually published 3-4 months in advance.

Ok I’ll get back to it in a few weeks.

The last time I had a pass was in 1990. The beauty of it then was there were no tickets...find a train and get on, show your pass. Simple.

I’ve been reading the help sections.  What is the definition of a “journey” and a “trip”? Is a trip made up of multiple journeys? What if the app won’t let me enter the information as I mentioned above?

A pass is connected with exactly one trip.

A trip is a collection of journeys.

A journey can consist of 1 or more trains.

If a train is missing in the app, you can always add it manually.
