I have a eurail pass and I am trying to book a train from Vienna to Krakow on August 17th.  Yesterday it said I could not reserve a seat until 60 days before so today I tried to book and it said it could be full.  All of the routes are showing that on the Eurail website.  Is there anything I’m not understanding and how can I reserve this seat?  Any advice is greatly appeciated.

The interrail reservation service is not reliable. Best to reserve the seat directly with the operator.(this is also cheaper as you dont have to pay the additional 2€ fee) But you are too early. Domestic seat reservations for poland are only possible 30 days in advance.

This guide could be usefull for you regarding reservations: https://www.seat61.com/interrail-and-eurail-reservations.htm#Poland

@BrendaW

Try tickets.oebb.at or cd.cz. The ÖBB website says for both direct trains that departure and/or arrival times could change due to engineering work. Sometimes they block reservations until the final schedule is available. I tried it for both trains and got no error message until the stage where I had to enter my payment details. Maybe the error message comes later. On the ČD website I tried it for the 8:10 train (EC206) and got even seat numbers assigned. So I think it is possible, try it on one of these sites. The price for two seats is 6 € or 148 Czech crowns (which is a few eurocents more)

Oh looks like i somhow overread the Vienna part. International reservations are available earlier.

But you are too early. Domestic seat reservations for poland are only possible 30 days in advance.
