Hello, I'm traveling from Vienna, Austria to Brest, France. I had to reserve seats for the trains in France that are at the end of the journey (so I have the tickets). But how do I get tickets for the trains at the beginning, as I can't find them? Will simply showing my Interrail pass work?

Please do not confuse your pass and reservations.

The pass is your ticket. You need to add every train you use to your pass, to generate the barcode for each travel day, which is the ticket you need to show to the ticket inspector. Also see:

Reservations are separate. Where they are required, you need to show them together with your pass.

Yes if you have the journeys activated in your pass, just showing your interrail pass (The generated QR Code ticket you can Display for the activated Day) will work as it is your ticket.
