Why do I get an error code (E0620) for every route that includes Paris to Lison?

I’m trying to go from Amsterdam Centraal (or Zaandam) to Coutances, France. I’m trying book for the day after tomorrow 11/23. I understand seats possibly running out due to how late I’m booking. But no matter how far in advance I check for seat reservations (this photo shows 11/28) every route I check which has Paris to Lison gives me an error code of E0620.

Is this the systems way of trying to tell me that they’re out of seats without actually saying it?

Eurail cannot reserve seats on these trains.

That has just saved you money as they are available from www.raileurope.com for €1.70 and no booking fee.

Please see this guide for the best places to book seats across Europe.

How would I book these seats while still using my Eurail pass on a website separate from Eurail? All I can see are individual tickets as if you are booking without a Eurail pass.

You have to select that you have an interrail pass on that website. The button that says add railpass allows you to select what kind of pass you have.

Also, on Rail Europe, always change currency to euro to avoid their 5% mark-up for other currencies.
