Did you really select first class? I obtained a free reservation:

+8The 500 NOK seems to be the pass price for “Premium plus” a higher categorie. So not just premium, but something extra. With special seats. I don’t think there are normal premium seats available on the connection you were looking for.
thx for your quick reply. Yes, it might be that on several lines there is no premium available. Nevertheless even ENRUR will charge 50 NOK for a standard seat

you´re right, if I choose 1st class, the standard class is for free. Nevertheless I find out that most of the trains in Norway only offer standard or premium plus class (no premium), which means that it is almost no benefit to travel 1st class interrail, quite disappointing 😥
