I planned a 10 trip journey over two months but got sick and had to cancel all my reservations. I was just now ready to rebook and make the passes active. But I just found out that my wife’s pass somehow is still active and has already missed two of her ten trips and two month window is up two days before my new itinerary. Can anyone provide any guidance for me? I understand once a pass is active and you’ve passed any ticket days the pass cannot be canceled.

Thank-you so much!  I sent Eurail support a message. Have you ever heard of Eurail reinstating a new start date and/or missed days (like my wife’s two)?

They sometimes do, on a case by case basis. They're not obliged to, since you (or your wife) explicitly chose the start date and activated the pass, but if you have a good case, then they may.

Rvd, they were extremely sympathetic to our somewhat unique situation and gave us an extra two days on our pass and extended the expiration date. Thanks so much!
