Hi Eurail community. I travelled on EC9227 this morning which departed from Bruxelles Central at 0949 and arrived in Rotterdam Central at 1150. When I alighted the train at Rotterdam Central the only backpack on the rack above wasn’t mine. I believe someone else had picked up the wrong backpack as they were both black, both felt the same weight. Mine is Adidas brand with a flask bottle on one side and travel oral hygiene products on the other side. Inside there’s a shoe bag and a small soft case of my medicines, amongst other things. I’m hoping that the person who realised they picked the wrong backpack would come across this announcement. Please will you contact me to organise a handover exchange. I’m in Amsterdam for the next few nights.

You can give it to any NS staff. Sloterdijk station also has a ticket office, so you can indeed go there.
Small chance they will be checking this forum. If there's nothing useful in the backpack to find its owner, then just turn it in at Amsterdam station, so the owner will be able to reclaim it (if they file a lost luggage claim). Maybe add a note with your contact details, so if it does get back to the owner, there's a way to contact you.
