No, you can only travel on a maximum of two travel days in your country of residence.
You could even have thought of that all by yourself-a short pass like for 5 days cost less as even a return on BritRail-or whoever runs now- for a long distance. And thats meant to go out and come back for that exciting trip ´on the continent´.
