Hello,

At step 3 of activating my pass, i'm asked for my ‘Passport or ID no’. There are two numbers in my passport:

  • Persoonsnummer/personal no.
  • Documentnummer/document no.

The personal no. can be compared to an SSN. Which one should I enter?

The document number should be used.

Do keep in mind that you will have to choose the first travel day in the activation process. You should however only do that if you're sure of that date. If you change plans and forget to cancel the activation, then you can loose your travel day. Cancelling the activation is possible until 23:59 CET on the day before the first travel day.

BSN NOOIT never gebruiken bij dit soort vragen. Zou vanzelf moeten spreken.
