Hi, I am travelling this week on a Global Pass. I have already activated the pass and all travel days. Re the travel days, should I not have activated those yet? Can I do that day by day during my trip? I thought I had to activate in order to secure a ticket on the train.

Many thanks all.

Super excited by the way!!!

It’s best not to activate anything in advance. There is no need to do that, it does not secure anything, Activation can only be cancelled before validity starts, which is at midnight. If anything happens after that, e.g. you wake up ill, then it will be too late to cancel, the clock will start ticket and you can loose travel days.

I'd just cancel the activation of the pass for now, and only activate on the day you start your trip.

A travel day will be activated when you toggle the first train of the day. That will create a ticket for that day.
