Activation date versus validity date

Hello,

 I have loaded 3 days of journeys on to my pass and I am confused re: dates. The app says that the pass was activated today 27th July which is when I loaded journeys on to My pass from My trip. It also says the pass is valid from 22nd October which is my first travel day. Is the pass going to run out in august because it has been activated today, 27th July, or does the validity date of 22nd October mean that I don’t need to worry about the activation date. 

 

I am a bit confused since reading various forums would suggest the idea that the activation date is the date from which my pass is going to be valid and I need to use it within the next month or deactivate it now.

Any assistance much appreciated.

The activation date is the date on which you do the activation procedure. Did you activate the pass? Activation consists of 3 steps, and in step 3 you choose the start date. The start date is the date on which the validity period starts.

What does My Pass in your app look like? Could you post a screenshot?

Please note that there is no need to activate your pass or any travel day in advance.

    I did not activate the pass I jjust used some travel days to load journeys from my trip onto my pass. I did this today and the app is saying that the app has been activated from today

    My first day of travel is on 22nd October

    Did you go to step 3 in the activation process and have you chosen a start date? Please post a screenshot of your pass but delete the pass number.

    It is not possible to use travel days without activating the pass.
