Amsterdam - Lyon - Nice. Suggestions?

Hello! I’m planning on taking the 20:30 train today july 5th  from amsterdam centraal to Lyon 13:30 july 6th via Switzerland (basel, geneve etc) and then somehow from Lyon to Nice ideally the same day since I have four days booked there from the 6th. I’ve done some research but the decision regarding “banning” interrail in the Paca region has made it significantly harder. Do you guys have any suggestions or should I perhaps cancel the two nights over there that I still can cancell.

Find a direct TGV Lyon(or somewhere nearby-maybe even Valence)-Nice, these are not local and the trip starts out of PACA.

Depending on next place after Nice: to Ventimiglia=IT border is just a few €-other way check either again TGV to out of PACA or use a bus (Flix or Blabla) for lower price

That decision has been reversed.
