BB is the code for the limited number of cheaper seat reservations in France for 2nd class.

BE is the code for regular seat reservations in France for 2nd class.

(In France, you may get cheaper reservations for 10 € per person. If these are sold out, the reservation does cost 20 € per person.)

To get a better price when doing a reservation for 7 people (Eurail does add 2 € per person), book here: https://travel.b-europe.com/Eurail-GE/en/booking-tgv#TravelWish.

Please be aware that Eurail/Interrail only sell the 20 EUR reservations even if there are 10 EUR reservations available. For domestic French trains the 10 EUR reservations can be bought through b-europe.

It seems that after 2 years (at least), Interrail/Eurail are finally able to sell both the limited €10 and the always available €20 reservations for domestic trains in France.
