I am currently in Bern. I don't have any days left in my interrail Global pass. Have 2 trips left in inbound outbound. My idea is to book a ticket from bern to basel geemany side and to use the outbound from there? Is it OK?

If you don’t have any more days left on your pass, you can’t do any more travel.
The inbound / outbound days are part of your normal pass days, not extra.

The inbound/outbound travel days are just normal travel days that also can be used in your country of residence.
