I have Eurail Italy pass and I would like to know if I can board bernina express from st.mortiz to Tirano. I already made the seat reservation but not sure if my Eurail Italy pass covers the ticket. From Eurail app it did let me get the ticket but unsure if this is valid. Does anyone have experience traveling on Bernina using Eurail Italy pass.
The Eurail Italy pass is only valid in Italy. It is not valid in the Bernina Express.
It’s not included in an Eurail Italy pass, since the majority of that route is not in Italy…
Buy an ordinary ticket on https://www.rhb.ch/en/home, or buy a global pass if you plan more trips outside of Italy than just this one.
Thanks all for the answers, I just boarded and the ticket was valid with Eurail Italy pass and conductor of the train validated and confirmed it indeed is a valid ticket . Hope this helps others in future
