Can I start travelling after the activation date?

I have the 10 days in 2 months promo pass, and the last Activation date is June 1st. (and the last day of travel is July 31st).  I would prefer to use my travel days in late June / early July. Is there any way to activate the pass for June 1st, but not have the first travel day until mid June? Or would I have to ‘sacrifice’ one of my 10 days to show a (fake) journey on 1st June?

Yes, you can do that. You are not obliged to use a travel day on the first day of the validity period.

In fact, you're not obliged to use a travel day at all…

Just finish the activation process no later than 1 June and set the start date at 1 June.
