Can I travel from my country of residence with One Country pass?

Is it possible to buy a ticket to travel in one country, but still be able to go from your own country to the country you want to go to? FE: you wanna travel in germany, but you still need to go from the netherlands to germany. Or do you need to buy a global pass in this case?

Either you buy a global pass or you buy a one country pass and extra tickets to the border.

in the case of Germany though, a global pass is not necessarily more expensive.

    in the case of Germany though, a global pass is not necessarily more expensive.

    Opgelet! Groot voordeel; ALS je denkt pas na 1/6 te gaan=-er komt hoogstwrs. een MAAND kaart voor heel DE voor 9€-maar die geldt dan enkel in NAHverkehr=dus niet die snelle witte ICE etc (waar ik nu in zit met de wifi). In juni-juli-augustus. Dus dat duurt wat lager-en zal wel soms gigantsich druk worden, maar scheelt klauwen sentjes. Niet alleen treintjes, ook bustram etc.

    Die IR hoef je toch niet lang vooruit te kopen, dus wacht af-nader bericht vanaf 20/5

    ALS je trouwens al iets van ´gratis met NS´ hebt dan dekt dat het deel van je woonst tot de grens, waar die pas start. Zo doe ik het al tijden

    Heb je bijvoorbeeld een weekend vrij abonnement, of OV-jaarkaart? Daarmee kan je reizen tot aan de grens.

    In het weekend reis ik tot de grens met mijn abonnement, als ik doordeweeks ga parkeer ik mijn auto net over de grens, bij een station.

    Please note that the Interrail German Rail Pass (One Country Pass Germany does not exist anymore) is valid also on ICE from Brussel and Liege to Germany and on trains to Basel Badischer Bahnhof (Switzerland), Salzburg (Austria) and on DB-ÖBB Eurocity to Wörgl, Kufstein, Innsbruck (Austria) and Bolzano/Bozen, Trento, Verona, Bologna and Venice (Italy).
