Can't book as we don't have inbound/outbound journeys left- how can this be used already?

Hello Everybody, we are from Munich and bought the global pass to make out route (Munich to Köln 10.June; Köln to Amsterdam on 11th June, and now we would like to take a train tomorrow (14.June) from Amsterdam to Hamburg, but we can not book it in the app, because according to the railplanner app, we have no out/inbound journey days left. The train to Köln is shown as an inbounding, but this can not be right, because we haven‘t crossed the border back to Germany yet.
How can it be, that our inbounding is already used, if only we made a stop in Köln, before we drove further to Amsterdam?
We would really appreciate a quick answer, because of our upcoming Travelday tomorrow.
Best Regards

You have already used both your outbound and inbound traveldays in Germany on the 10th and 11th of June. You can only travel on a maximum of two days in your country of residence.

You need to buy a ticket for the German part of your journey back home tomorrow.

@seewulf @rvdborgt Can anyone of you please explain how to get a ticket for only the German part of the journey?

How to book depends on the route but you can compare these options:

  1. A ticket from the border tariff point (normally Bad Bentheim(Gr)) to Hamburg.
  2. Sparpreis from the last station in the Netherlands (Hengelo) to Hamburg.
  3. Sparpreis from the first station in Germany to Hamburg plus a ticket Bad Bentheim(Gr) - Bad Bentheim.

Tickets from a Dutch station or from the border tariff point can be bought via NSI website. For the latter, you need to use the discount "Free on NS route”, which will set the price of the Dutch part of the ticket to 0. Don't forget to indicate a BahnCard if you have one.

In the rail planner app, you'll need to add a manual journey to Bad Bentheim(Gr). Or if you have an iPhone, don't add a manual journey (because of a bug) but just add a journey to Hengelo instead.
