For probs with TRAINs-its the company that runs the trains there where you are. Do NOT expect too much sympathy in general, railways are not for making customer happy, but to fulfill all burocratic rulings. And you are supposed to be able to help yourself on all the common 1st time probs-there wont be a single one that has not yet been encountered.
For probs with APP: do NOT use your fancy I-fone-too many troubles reported on that thing (haha), contact centre-and DO mention date when travel-as they due to few staff try to respond to most urgent probs first.
