Researching whether to purchase a one country pass, and on some routes some trains say conditions apply (to a one country pass) while other trains do not.  I assumed that meant that some routes took you through a different country, but that doesn’t seem to be the case in one route I’m researching (Venice to Vipiteno, Italy.)  It says to check the travel info section for more details, but I can’t find that section.

Any help?

This means in your case i assume a EuroCity train on your Route from Venice or Verona for a part of your Route :)

These Eurocity´s need a surcharge (not a reservation) of 10€ in 2nd class or 15€ in 1st class 🙂 it can be paid online at oebb.at, at the train station or directly on the train without any onboardfee :)

You can avoid this fee by taking Regionaltrains on the Route 🙂 not much time loss :)
